Our Certification training is for people interested in offering and advocating for weight-inclusive models of care (whether in their careers or life). Folks that choose this training are willing to learn and also unlearn the stuff we have been indoctrinated into. Those in each cohort are often engaged in their own healing process, which means that our participants show up as human, with little professional masking and a sincere commitment to making their communities safer for all bodies. We have all people from all 'walks-of-life', not just providers. These folks include yoga instructors, photographers, lifelong learners, and people who just want to ‘geek out’ on all things Body Trust.

To summarize: In our certification relaunch, instead of starting the program with a week-long in person kickoff retreat as we have done in the past, we are turning the certification program into a year-long training with monthly online Zoom meetings featuring guest teachers, panels, and roundtable discussions. The live webinars will be recorded if you are unable to make it every month. The program also includes 15 robust online self-paced learning modules (called our Groundwork Program). 

For those who are unable to join our full certification program this year, we will be offering folks the opportunity to get started on the Groundwork modules in September (self-paced online modules). We will be reaching out with more on that soon. Note that for full Certification, we require that folks participate in the live webinar portion of the program as well as complete the Groundwork Program/modules. You would then have the option to join us in our 2023 certification webinar portion of the training which would begin some time next summer.
